As a young health care professional beginning to expand my clinical practice in the research world, attending the world stroke congress helped me to develop better clinical reasoning and research understanding. Being able to get all the up to date information on key research happening in stroke prevention, care and continuity allowed me to gain more expertise in the field that I will be able to also bring back to my colleagues.
